Hurricane Katrina vastly destroyed the Gulf Coast region of the United States. In our town of New Orleans, La, the "Spirit" of what this city represents to the world was temporarily thwarted. Music is the universal language and the heartbeat of New Orleans captured the message of " I Know We Can Make It Work, I Know That We Can". This spirit has generated excitement all the way to the Grammy Awards ceremony as the Grammys paid tribute the New Orleans music. The Sauve' Road Band is proud to be a part of that excitement as we return to bring good time music to the region. New Orleans is on the way back no matter what. The Sauve' Road Band's goal to create a backdrop of pleasure to the social community thru its music and showmanship.

After several audition with unsuccesful drummers, the Sauve Road Band has decided to give Nick Manale a shot of playing drums and lead singing. This has become a major challenge and after 30 years , Nick will perform on Aug 28th .

The Sauve' Road Band song selections are derived from all of the members of the band. We have all attended hundreds of concerts and have been greatly influenced by the live performances. Concerts includes the Beatles, Bob Dylan, Allman Bros Band, Marshall Tucker Band, Robert Palmer, Wet Willie, Eagles, Steppenwolf, Bachman Turner Overdrive, and Credence Clearwater Revival and Jethro Tull.

The Sauve' Road Band goal is to pay tribute to some of the greatest songs and greatest groups of the 60s, 70s, and 80s as well as a select few of the modern day music. The Sauve' Road Band shows features concert style atmosphere and music for dancing to combine both styles of musical interest.
